Victoria's Big Build Advertising
Artwork for Victoria’s Big Build - the public face for all state funded Major Transport Infrastructure Projects across Victoria. This campaign advertising, focused on delivering customer messaging to all Victorians spanned digital, press including major publications, social, TVCs and out of home. Distilling complex information into simple, easy to understand messaging across a consistent branding system was a crucial part of the work.
In my role, as well as creating the artwork and developing brand guidelines for the campaign, I supported strategic direction and the ongoing evolution of the brand as it was applied. I was also responsible for approving all paid artwork for the campaign, to ensure a consistent brand from artwork developed by more than 30 designers across 5 design studios. In the time I was performing this role, brand awareness increased and a high proportion of Victorians were aware of the campaign messaging prior to entering the transport system.
This work also included supporting a high-profile integrated branding strategy to unite a family of eight established brands across the Victorian Government. Alongside the development of a branding strategy, this involved continual stakeholder engagement across a group of five senior designers from separate design studios. It focused on creating a clearer and more streamlined customer experience for all Victorians.
